Housework & Break-Ins & Zombies… Oh My!

In a few days halloween will knock on our door, perhaps trick or treating, but hopefully there are some treats for me too!

I’ve been stressing about studies, housework, not to mention my neighbor playing the same song over and over AND over again! I think it’s safe to say she has a slight obsession. Don’t get me wrong! She’s a lovely girl, with a fair taste in music, but when the same song has been repeated for over a week, more than 8 times a day, I believe a break is due!

This is part of the reason why Aleks and I decided a trip to the coast was in order, to get a little peace and quiet for the weekend… However, even there we didn’t get to escape the drama of life! After a whole Saturday of rainy, wet weather, we managed to locked ourselves out of the beachhouse and spent a few hours ‘debating’ what to do. It was decided we would knock on the downstairs neighbors’ door and ask if we could get in from her apartment. Aleks, having impressive acrobatic skills, climbed from the bottom balcony to the top balcony, with only a boost from my hand, and he managed to open a window! Thank the Lord for a nifty boyfriend!

After our break-in, we rushed to the cinema to watch the newly released Paranormal Activity 3. A cinema full of screaming teenie-boppers made the experience all the more enjoyable, and a lot less scary! The movie didn’t fail to impress either!

With Halloween coming up this weekend, I’m hoping for a scary time yet again! Hopefully some screams will be created from my hopefully successful zombie appearance!
